Fixing High CPU Usage from kworker (i915 Hotplug Loop) on a hacked DS918+ (J3710)
A headless hacked DS918+ running on Intel J3710 showed constant high load caused by a kworker thread. The issue came from the Intel i915 driver repeatedly probing for a display. Unbinding the GPU from the driver fixed the CPU spike and can be automated at boot.
